The Idea

Re-imagining the Future of Space

The concept for the Elegant Urban Loft revolves around blending modern urban aesthetics with cozy, welcoming touches. The goal is to create a space that feels both sophisticated and comfortable, making it an ideal living environment for a young professional in the city. The design will incorporate clean lines, neutral colors, and strategic use of textures to add depth and interest.

Kitchen Design

Designed as a calm, tactile warm-modern living room and kitchen, the space pairs raw character with refined craft. A cast-in-place concrete ceiling with subtle formwork meets a soft-beige, split-face brick curve and wide-plank matte oak flooring. The kitchen features warm-beige lacquered cabinetry and honed limestone/travertine surfaces, lit by a slim brass linear pendant. A cocoa velvet-suede modular sofa anchors the lounge alongside a black wire chair, slim black steel tables and an ecru loop-pile rug. Afternoon sun through venetian blinds paints long, serene shadows.

Bathroom Design

These bathrooms blend warm-neutral stone with natural oak for a calm, hotel-grade feel. Large-format, lightly veined porcelain wraps floors and walls; a monolithic stone vanity with integrated basins floats above wall-hung oak cabinetry, keeping the floor clear. Fixtures, flush plate, and shower frame are matte black for a single disciplined accent. Backlit mirror panels and 2700–3000K concealed strips create soft, layered light, complemented by a vertical linear sconce. Clean joints, concealed pulls, towel ledge, and recessed niches deliver durable, spa-like simplicity.
